aufgrund der ASFINAG-internen Firewall-Migration von Cisco zu Palo Alto Firewalls ist ein Tausch des VPN-Clients notwendig. Wir bitten Sie daher, den bestehenden Cisco Anyconnect Client laut beiliegender Anleitung zu deinstallieren und den neuen Palo Alto GlobalProtect Client zu installieren.

Das PIAM-VPN Passwort entnehmen Sie bitte dem am 4. März 2026 übermittelten Informationsmail. Der Cisco Anyconnect VPN-Client wird nach einer Übergangsfrist nicht mehr unterstützt!

Falls der PIAM-Zugriff ohne Cisco Anyconnect VPN erfolgt, z.B.: via ASFINAG Notebook/PC, Citrix etc. sind keine weiteren Schritte notwendig.

Dear PIAM Users,

due to ASFINAG's internal firewall migration from Cisco to Palo Alto firewalls, it is necessary to replace the VPN client. We therefore ask you to uninstall the existing Cisco AnyConnect client according to the attached instructions and install the new Palo Alto GlobalProtect client.

Please refer to the informational email sent on March 4, 2026, for your PIAM VPN password. The Cisco Anyconnect VPN client will no longer be supported after a transition period!

If you access PIAM without using the Cisco Anyconnect VPN—e.g., via an ASFINAG laptop/PC, Citrix, etc. - no further action is required.
